| Adam Burwell |
 Experience
Adam began his playing career as a trusted centre back but when an injury to his teams keeper' forced an early retirement and a dilemma of who would play between the sticks Adam donned the gloves and never looked back. The following season Adam (at the age of 19) stepped from local football to county football when he signed for Shrewton United, then a Wiltshire Premier Division side. After several seasons collecting the double Shrewton moved up into the Screwfix Western First division where they would travel to places such as Ifracombe, Truro and Minehead. Whilst playing for Shrewton Adam achieved his Level 1 and Level 2 outfield certificates.
At the age of 25 Adam hung up the gloves to focus on coaching youngsters and started at Harnham FC where he coached the under 8's, under 9's and under 10's. Adam re-structured the training given to the players which saw a large increase in the number of players joining the club and assisted in the sides moving away from their positions at the foot of the table to pushing for honors.
Adam has since moved on from Harnham and now focuses his coaching on goalkeeping having achieved his Level 2 gk certificate. His current commitments include 1 on 1 training of the Salisbury City U13 gk (Tyro League), 1 on 1 training of the Bemerton Heath Harlequins first team gk (Sydenhams Wessex League) and gk coach for Salisbury FC Academy which takes place once a week and covers the under 9's to under 16's age groups.
