BETWEEN THE STICKS NEWSLETTER - JANUARY 2010
Happy New Year to you all.
We have certainly had a nightmare time the last few weeks, first with the continual rain and then the freezing conditions since Christmas, but we had our first session on Monday January 18th and it was, as usual, a great evenings coaching.
As you probably know we had to cancel our Christmas holiday afternoon session and postpone it to Wednesday February 17th during the half term holiday. It will be from 1 - 4 pm at Canford Arena.
WILL YOU PLEASE NOTE THAT EVEN IF YOU WERE BOOKED IN FOR THE CHRISTMAS SESSION IT IS NECESSARY TO LET JENNY KNOW IF YOU WISH TO RESERVE A PLACE FOR THE FEBRUARY SESSION. If you paid in advance for the cancelled session this will obviously be transferred to the next one but if you are unable to attend in February your fees can be transferred to the weekly sessions. If anyone requires a refund if you could inform Jenny she will arrange this for you.
Places for this are as usual restricted so please make sure, particularly if you were due to attend the Christmas session, that you reserve your place as soon as possible.
Just a reminder - will keepers or their parents please make sure that they see Jenny prior to starting the coaching - this is necessary even if they have already paid so that numbers attending are recorded.
Congratulations to all the keepers who have been selected for their County Teams and to all those who have received Man of the Match Awards - it is good for us at Betweeen the Sticks to hear these numerous positive reports.
Let us just spare a thought for the mums who have had to do the boys and girls kit washing during the last few weeks - having had to do this in the past I really do sympathise !!
We would like to thank you so much for the Christmas cards and presents which we received - we really do appreciate these gifts and kind words.
